Fun Dog Show 21 May 2016
We raised over £650 at our Fun Dog Show at the Leigh Arms in Acton Bridge, thanks to all our volunteers and lovely people who brought your dogs and joined in the fun.
There was a professional photographer there on the day, and he has offered us part of the proceeds for any sales of the photos he took. Please see http://www.philburdge.co.uk/ and then choose “Shop”. Some examples are below:
Prize Bingo evenings:
We held two prize bingo evenings on 22 October and 17 December 2015 at Rudheath Social Club, which raised £400 and £750 each. Winners collected fabulous hampers of prizes. We had donations from some very special people on the night too. Thank-you very much for your support, it means a lot. As with all our events, the money is used to buy medicines for the cats and dogs in our care that are unlikely to find homes and for food for all the animals.
Dog Show – Antrobus, 13 September 2015
Thank-you to everyone who entered their dog into our Antrobus Fun Dog Show on Sunday 13th September, or if you did our tombola, entered the raffle or bought a sandwich or cake – we raised around £500, which will go towards vet bills for our poorliest residents and food for all. You can view the photos here, and if you buy, Phil the photographer has kindly agreed to donate some of the proceeds to us:
Our dog show held on Saturday 13th June 2015 was a huge success and a big thank you goes to all those supporting the event, including our dedicated volunteers. A special thank you must be given to the Willows for sponsoring the show and also vets Fiona and Steph who gave their time to come and judge the classes. Thanks also to everyone who donated items in aid our charity. These are always very much appreciated and a great help in aiding our fund raising events.
We hope you enjoy looking at a few of our photos.
(Keep watching this space for further updates.)
We need suitable items for our tombola and for sale stalls and would be grateful for any donations. Please contact Elaine 07971547336 or call in at the Willows Vets in Hartford with your donations.
Last year’s 2014 dog show was a barking success and we can’t wait for the next one!
