Lottie

Lottie is a 7-month old female dog, a Boston terrier/english bulldog cross.  She is looking for a new home because she attacked the other dogs in her household.

She loves cuddles and sitting on your knee but has always had food-related aggression and so has to be fed separately.  We would advise she goes to a home with no other pets and no children.  She can be taken on walks but pulls strongly and needs handling.  She has had all her vaccinations and isn't yet neutered.  She doesn't like birds and is really still a baby who requires considerable training.  She's fed twice a day on wet food with dry biscuits.  She loves treats and affection, balls and chew toys.

Molly

Molly is a Pomeranian (maybe cross) girl aged around six and half.  She's spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea/worm treatments.

Unfortunately, Molly hasn't settled with the other dogs in her household and in a new home would need to be the only pet.  We would not recommend a home with children as she hasn't been around any.

She's very affectionate and protective towards her humans. She loves to be with you and snuggle up. She has great recall, unless she is chasing off a cat/squirrel/bird, in which case she will ignore all commands. Molly is crate trained and goes into her crate obediently when instructed. She can be left alone for a few hours in the crate, and she sleeps in it overnight.

Molly's history is a little blurry. Her owner thinks she was a gift to an elderly lady who was unable to walk her and she wasn't socialised as a pup. The lady passed away and family took Molly on but couldn't cope with her.

Molly finds it incredibly stressful living with other dogs. She craves attention and needs to be the centre of her humans' world. She is sweet and loving inside the home. She likes a quiet household. If there is too much activity, she gets stressed and starts marking her territory by cocking her leg at various items of furniture and kitchen appliances. It is not a daily occurrence, but when she's very stressed she will mark.

Outside the home is a different story. Molly is excited to go walkies and can't wait to put on her lead. She is immediately on high alert and actively looking for things to bark at. She will pant, pull and bark at everything and nothing. She will try to snap at anything that passes by. This includes people, children, dogs, bikes, scooters, prams and pushchairs. Molly may be happier with a reasonable sized garden rather than walks.

Molly does not like other bitches. She will often urinate on my other bitch to show her who is boss. She never does this on a walk, only ever in the garden at home. This is a major reason why she needs to be the only pet.   Molly doesn't play with toys regularly and loses interest in them quickly, preferring human cuddles.

Molly has spent up to 4 nights in boarding kennels and has coped fine with that but has reverted back to marking on return to the home.

Molly likes:
Her human
Cuddles with her human
